Breast Cancer Specific Therapy
Breast Cancer Healing
Specialized Support After Treatment
Completing breast cancer treatment does not always bring emotional closure. Many women experience lingering trauma responses, anxiety, grief, identity disruption, and a loss of safety in their bodies long after medical care ends. These reactions are common and reflect the nervous system’s response to a life-threatening experience.
As both a trauma therapist and breast cancer survivor, I offer targeted support for women navigating post-treatment healing.
Beyond the Bell: A Breastie Circle for Survivors
This structured therapy group is designed for women adjusting to life after active treatment and addresses:
Post-treatment trauma symptoms
Fear of recurrence
Body image and identity loss
Medical and surgical trauma
Anxiety, hypervigilance, and emotional overwhelm
Reconnection to vitality, pleasure, and self-trust
Sessions integrate evidence-based trauma approaches, nervous system regulation, guided processing, and gentle embodied practices within a supportive community of fellow survivors.
Breast Cancer Trauma Intensives
Private, Focused Trauma Treatment
For women experiencing persistent distress related to diagnosis or treatment, I offer extended trauma intensives utilizing EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting, somatic, and attachment-based therapies.
Intensives are helpful for:
Medical or procedural trauma
Stuck or intrusive treatment memories
Panic, fear, or dysregulation in the body
Ongoing survival-mode responses
Recurrence anxiety
Grief and identity disruption
These sessions provide deeper, accelerated healing beyond traditional weekly therapy.
Breast cancer impacts far more than the physical body. Psychological and nervous system healing is a critical and often overlooked part of survivorship. You deserve support for this phase of recovery.
