Breast Cancer Trauma Therapy

post Cancer Healing

specialized Support After Treatment

Completing cancer treatment does not always bring emotional closure.

Many women experience lingering trauma responses, anxiety, grief, identity disruption, and a loss of safety in their bodies long after medical care ends. These reactions are common and reflect the nervous system’s response to a life-threatening experience.

As both a trauma therapist and breast cancer survivor, I offer targeted support for women navigating post-treatment healing.

My work includes providing trauma therapy, including DBR, and nature based intensives (see more on intensives website), as well as groups that focus on the specifics of cancer survivorship from an empowerment lens.

“Beyond the bell” Series

women’s circles

I offer several “Beyond the Bell” women’s circle, designed specifically for women to heal after active cancer treatment.

Each group is designed differently, and touch on the following topics:

  • Post-treatment trauma symptoms

  • Fear of recurrence and anxiety

  • Body image and identity loss

  • Sexual health and relationships

  • Medical and surgical trauma

  • Physical fitness and wellness practices

  • Anxiety, hyper-vigilance, and emotional overwhelm

  • Reconnection to vitality, pleasure, and self-trust

Sessions integrate evidence-based trauma approaches, nervous system regulation, guided processing, and gentle embodied practices within a supportive community of fellow survivors.

Cost is $60/group and runs in 8 week cycles ($480 total cost), and runs for 2 hours.
